The problem extends well beyond just teaching a mistruth to our children. The ramifications of Evolutionism extend in many directions. Many research efforts and commercial applications DEPEND on the Theory. Constant attention must be paid to ensure that there is never the least little hint of discrepancy. Just one small problem with the evidence or application will be the magic bullet that takes it down. So much energy is expended on making sure each part fits together it must eventually fail.
When you consider the size of the conspiracy required, it makes the Satanic and Liberal conspiracies against Christianity look like children telling dirty jokes in a (public) school playground!
The conspiracy must protect the dogma, direct research and ensure conclusions in many disciplines. In addition, many commercial organizations found their industries on evolutionary principles. Admittedly, not all of these conspirators are required to defend the basic theory of biological evolution. Some are merely corollary endeavors where information and results dovetail with the misinformation provided by Darwin's disciples. For example, the fact that recorded history 12 extends back 6243 years is not a problem unless your literal interpretation of the Old Testament places Creation 6034 years ago. If the method of Fossil Distribution depends on The Great Flood, no Flood evidence can be tolerated in Geology, Archaeology, Anthropology, the Arctic Ice layers, Tree Rings, and the above mentioned Historic Record. And if micro-evolution is factual, some parts of the conspiracy may be sincere. This would provide a 'legitimate cover' in the manner of the Mafia, or television newscasts.
Ultimately, one of the competing
Truths of Young Earth Creationism, Old Earth Creationism and Intelligent Design will be proven out as the True story. Somewhere in the vast, interconnected, interlocking, self-vindicating map of Evolution Science is a line that marks the difference between Fact and Fiction.All it will take is one of the above professionals stepping forward, with proof, and announcing the extent of the conspiracy. Or, an amateur working outside of his/her area finding unauthorized proof. Or exposing the hoaxes.

Some other mechanism imparts a resistance to this divine vulnerability over time.3
In addition, the speed at which diseases adapt to chemicals that never existed on the planet before certainly seems on first look to be an addition of information. This addition is more of the evolutionary 'New Math.'4
For example, the distribution of monotremes in and around Australia, marsupials in Australia and the Americas is implicit in the evolutionary theory.5
If anyone finds a distinct ecology of large placental animals in the outback, evolutionists will have a lot of backtracking ahead.6
